London offices becoming luxury homes

More and more offices in the heart of London are being turned into high end residential accommodation, a new report has revealed.

According to property agent HS20, homes in areas such as Mayfair and St James's command particularly high prices. Many residential developers are therefore cashing in by converting office space into luxury houses.

This includes many properties that were designed to be exclusive homes when they were originally created. As a result, demand for high net worth insurance policies could be set to soar in the West End, as buyers may want to take steps to safeguard their properties.
